I was a hospice nurse, prior to starting my own company. I knew I enjoyed helping people and nursing just came naturally to me. Once I had my daughter in 2019, everything shifted and nursing wasn’t something I was rushing back to, due to the pandemic and having an infant at home. Unfortunately the pandemic affected us all and even affected the way that we shopped. Online shopping became the way of life, because who doesn’t love Amazon, and as my deliveries piled up, so did my returns. I had too many of those situations of: “what I ordered” versus “what I got” haha. I missed return deadlines and it really hit me when we missed a return on an expensive item and that’s when noted came to be. I wanted there to be something that reminded me of return deadlines and there was nothing out there, so instead of waiting for someone else to figure it out, my husband told me to bet on me. Why not me? And thus noted was born!

Who are your favorite people to follow ?*

I love any good account, right now it’s half baked harvest. Also because it’s football season, I love watching all the new game day gear and “mydanidesign” is a personal favorite.

What are your favorite things to do in the area ? Buffalo and greater WNY

I am new to Buffalo, so I am really learning my way around. Right now my top favorites are Blueberry Treehouse and Lucia’s on the Lake! And of course, Highmark Stadium!

Tell us about your favorite collaboration or dream collaborations ?

Right now I am working on a collaboration with Braidbabes and also from a shopping angle, I am working with BAB (Big Ass Bag), another female own tech company looking to revolutionize shopping.

If you could have coffee with anyone in the world who would it be?*

I just love a great girls moment. So all of my friends in one place, would be magical!

What are your hopes, dreams, goals. Big or small?

I want to revolutionize the returns industry through noted. I want to take noted to its peak and see what the company has in store, whether that’s being acquired, going public, the sky is truly the limit. I think most, I really dream of a beach front home that my children grow up going to and that I grow old going to with my family!

Tell us about your family?

My husband is from Binghamton, NY and I am from Philadelphia, PA. We met at Penn State and in 2014, he was drafted to the Tennessee Titans. Now we live in Nashville TN, but during the season we move to Buffalo NY and that is how I am new to Buffalo. We have an almost 4 year old, her name is Mya and a 1 year old named Jace. They are the absolute greatest, we have a daddy’s girl and a mommas boy to the core haha. We also have 2 dogs, Biscuit and Luna and we are so excited to see what life has in store for the Jones Family!
