Buffalo Boss Babes Speaker Series: Courage
Each and every speaker series it amazes me how many people come out to empower and inspire one another. When you walk into the room it can feel overwhelming or intimidating to some, especially walking into a room full of powerful boss babes.
This speaker series was all about courage. The courage to keep going, the courage to start, the courage to control your destiny, the courage to show up and so much more. When we have our pre-speaker meetup for the events I can see the fire in the women who will be on the speaker panel the following day. They are always lit up with excitement talking about the things they are most passionate about. The questions being asked always ignite something inside that is honestly so amazing to watch. It brings up so many emotions about their project or business and things they forgot about in their own experience or life until the question brings it to life again. Typically, the panel does not know one another at the beginning of this meeting they always walk away as friends hugging and they cant wait for the panel day.
The morning of the speaker events are always a bit nerve wracking because of all the little details that go into it, but as soon as people start walking into the room all my nerves go away because the amount of positive vibes in the room for these events is completely overwhelming. When you look around the room and see so many amazing powerful women from all different spectrum of our city it is something really moving. Women are introducing their co workers, their friends and themselves and creating such genuine connections with one another.
Buffalo Boss Babes Mission is to inspire and empower the creative and inspiring woman who are helping to build the resurgence of Buffalo! We hope that this project provides you with encouragement and inspiration on your boss babe journey.
