What made you start or brought you to where you are today? Tell us your story and what makes you a Buffalo Boss Babe.
After a long road of changes in my personal life I decided to venture in the world of cycling, it became my release from my everyday life, and was a healthy way of doing it. I then chose to become an instructor and was given an amazing opportunity to open my own studio after my hard work and dedication created quite a following. Pura Vida Cycling is a place for people to escape their every day lives, their drama, their jobs, their stresses. I want it to be a place where I do the thinking for them, they listen to the music, laugh, smile, sweat, and work their hardest through positive motivation in every class.

Who are your favorite people to follow?
I truly enjoy following other women in our community that are #bossbabes whether itβs Ciara and Susan from Herstory or Hersanctuary, Katie from BkindCity, Sara from Beck and Forth co. Elena from Natures Apothecary, or Megan from Raw Renewal Yoga, the list can go on. Itβs beautiful to watch all of us grow, and continue to inspire others. We are making a difference in our own ways and have a deep love for what we do, helping others.
Β
What are your favorite things to do in the area (Buffalo and greater WNY)?
I enjoy trying new restaurants, shopping at local shops and boutiques, and finding the newest and best cup of coffee in the area. Coffee is life.
Β
Tell me about your favorite collaborations or a dream collaboration?
I did a ladies night a couple months back, and being able to collaborate with local businesses sharing what each persons specialty was, was a blast. We had a great turn out and I plan on doing this more and more as time goes on. Collaborating with other local businesses is key for all of us to grow. We are not in any type of competition, growing together only helps one another.
Β
If you could have coffee with anyone in the world who would it be?
The high school girl inside me needs to meet Dave Matthews for my own selfish music obsessed reasons, the adult in me would love to meet is Stacey Griffith from SoulCycle. She is the epitome of what I believe in and what I strive to be. She not only helps others physically through amazing classes but she is the definition of balance. She is motivating mentally and emotionally helping thousands find balance. She also had similar struggles as I have in my past, and also gave up partying and drinking to find her best self, only to become very successful at helping others find their best selves.
Β
What are your hopes, dreams, goals? Big or Small.
I hope to create a sense of community. Whether itβs in the studio with my clients and our own βclubβ inviting anyone and everyone to join, or bringing in other business in the area to collaborate with. I want to help others become their best selves, thatβs my overall goal as a business owner. I want to leave this world knowing I did my best to bring everyone together.
